Questions
How do I convert a US size to UK?
Women's: EU/German size = US size + 32 (so EU 36 = US 4); UK = US + 4; French = German + 2; Italian = German + 4. Men's suits: EU = US chest size + 10.
Are German and French sizes the same?
No — French sizes run two higher than German/EU standard sizes: a German 36 is a French 38. Italian sizes run four higher (Italian 40).
Why does my size vary between brands?
There is no enforced international standard — brands cut differently (vanity sizing). Use body measurements and the brand's own chart for anything fitted.
